Our journey began decades ago when Casa Accademia housed a congregation of nuns and functioned as a house of providence. Over the years, we’ve transformed this historic building into a sanctuary for travelers seeking an authentic Venetian experience. Today, we’re incredibly proud to welcome guests from all corners of the world, inviting them to be part of our story and create precious memories in Venice.

The management of Casa Accademia is just one of the many activities carried out by the association “Centro di Pastorale Universitaria Santa Fosca,” a non-profit organization whose main objective is the management of the student houses of Santa Fosca, San Michele, and the Catechumens.

The proceeds from this tourist activity are intended for the management and improvement of the facilities that host us, particularly for the preservation of the fifteenth-century buildings of the monumental complex of Santa Fosca in the Cannaregio district.

Our association has existed since 1981 and accommodates in its structures more than 200 students from all over Italy and the world to attend the numerous Venetian universities.
